MIZUHIKI is paper cord. This is thin (about 1mm), but very strong. When
using, it can also use by one. Several favorite colors are also
combinable. It’s possible to knot the shape of the animal and the shape
of the plant using MIZUHIKI. Or, it’s possible to make ‘KANZASHI’.

MIZUHIKI can be knot to a present. And collage, card making etc… or many
things can be used for it according to an idea.

Each is handmade by me using fabulous chiyogami paper and aluminum
buttons. Multiple coatings of an acrylic resin that is made by a
Japanese paper company are applied. This resin is made specifically for
Japanese paper as it keeps the paper from turning yellow.

As these are made from paper they should only be used on items that
don't need to be washed. They would be perfect for decorating bags,
collages etc. You could also use them to make hair accessories, magnets etc.

They measure 23mm or .7 inches.
